Makeup Savvy 15 Day Nail Challenge - Day 10 - Gradient

Today's challenge is the one I have been looking forward to the most.
I really enjoy doing gradient nails!

I knew I wanted to do a rainbow gradient but I didn't know if I wanted to use pastels or brights.
Once pastel had been settled on I decided to try doing the gradient across the nails instead of down the nails and I'm really pleased with the outcome.

The colours used are, Barry M Strawberry Ice Cream, Peach Melba, Lemon Ice Cream, Blueberry Ice Cream, Berry Ice Cream and Essie Mint Candy Apple. Then I used China Glaze Fairy Dust glitter over the top to give it a bit of sparkle.

    1. Thank you, I used a damp kitchen sponge and painted the polish straight on to it then dabbed it back and forth on the nail, I'm going to do a tutorial for it soon x

  11. I love your nails! There always so clean and smooth. I was wondering how long it takes for you to paint them? Cause I never have the patience to wait for them to dry complitely and I end up messing usually at least one nail. do you use any fast dry drops or polishes?

    1. Thank you! My nails are actually quite ridged, I have to buff them and use ridge filling base coats to keep them looking smooth! Depends what I'm doing, if it's just one colour then probably 20/30mins start to finish. I use Seche Vite Dry Fast Topcoat, it's the only fast dry topcoat I've ever used because it works so well and leaves a super smooth shiny finish! :) x
